This is the install image.
Here first we will try to install Mac OS X not on the physical partition, but in a file on any of ur existing Windows Partition.
Check whether u have an NTFS partition or not.
If yes then w'll move ahead in the install,
otherwise u'll have to make one.

Now Get VMWare. This software will help install OS, but will not wipe out ur Windows installation.
This VMWare can be used in both the ways to install mac os x.
Either in virtual mode(on a file and booting from windows installed, by creating a new virtual machine) or in
Native mode(on a physical partition, so that u can boot into mac os x, without getting into Windows OS) CAUTION:: USE THIS MODE ONLY IF U HAVE ANOTHER HARD DISK DRIVE OR YOU DONT WANT TO KEEP UR EXISTING WINDOWS INSTALLATION.
IN THE LATTER CASE, U'LL NEED TO BURN A DVD OF THE MAC OS INSTALLATION AND NEED A DVD DRIVE TO BOOT INTO FROM THE DISC.

ASSUMING THAT U DONT WANT TO INSTALL NATIVELY AND NOT ON THE PHYSICAL PARTITION VIA VMWARE.

INSTALL STEPS

1. CREATE A CUSTOM PROFILE FOR A NEW VMWare MACHINE.
By selecting FreeBSD as the Operating System to be installed.
2. Now it will ask u to provide a location for storing the file(OS image into). Specify a location having filesystem as NTFS and having space around 4gig to 6 gig.
3. Next it will ask u to provide memory. IF u have 1024MB then use--> 512MB
if u have 512MB then use --> 256MB.
4. Then start this virtual machine. this machine at this very instant is empty and we will need to install the OS.
5. When the virtual system boots press Esc key. This will display u the menu to select the boot device. here select the CD-ROM.
6. Now the install will start.
7. Now open Disk Utility from the top menu bar from Utilities.
8. Now Erase the partition specified with the help of Extended(Journalled) profile.
9. Now click the red 'wrong on top left' and get back to setup.
10. As ur profile of processor states that if u have an Intel SSE3 processor select the appropriate patches i.e. DO NOT select AMD patches and also Intel SSE2 patches as these might corrupt ur installation .
Only select the patches pertaining to ur Intel SSE3 processor. Even do not select the VIA ATA hack for nForce.
But at this point if u r using an AMD64 pc, select the patch that helps u in installation.
If ur processor supports SSE2, then only select the SSE2 patch and not the SSE3 patch.
if ur processor supports SSE3, then only select the SSE3 patch and not the SSE2 patch.

Also, note that AMD users will have to apply all AMD based patches (that are labeled AMD, except for SSE2 and SSE3, which are processor specific)
11 If ur motherboard is Intel 915/945, it will have graphics as GMA900 / GMA950, dont forget to select an option pertaining to this. (This hold the eye candy).

NOTE:USERS WITH ATI WILL NEED ADDITIONAL DRIVERS TO ENABLE EYE CANDY IN MAC OS X, as Ati cards are officially supported by Apple for their legal mac.
ALSO TILL DATE nVidia GEFORCE BASED CARDS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY APPLE, HENCE NO EYE CANDY(ATLEAST FOR NOW), BUT DONT FORGET U CAN ALWAYS INSTALL MAC OS X WITHOUT ANY KIND OF DRIVERS, ALSO ALL BASIC FUNCTIONALITY WILL BE ENABLED INCLUDING THE GENIE EFFECT FOR MINIMIZING THE WINDOW.

12 Now go ahead with the install.
13. After install is complete then reboot into the mac os and not get again into install mode.

NOTE (for VMWare Virtual install only):

U will not see any kind of eye candy on, it might be slow.
U will not have enough space. Even most of ur hardware will not work properly as VMWare uses generic profile for hardware.

If u want to get the maximum out of the Mac OS. u will need to install it natively.
this will give u most out of it .
If u have a separate HDD, i suggest u that u follow the VMWare mode of installing on physical partition by selecting the whole of physical disk.

Some dual booting thread for a install over a single Hard Disk exist, but im not too sure that where r they.

UPDATE for 10.4.8(with Semthex kernel)the AMD.SSE3.BETA1.TEST available on the Piratebay

I followed the steps below..

1. Create a Virtual Machine as u wud usually make...
2. Then add a physical partition on which u gonna install the Mac OS X 10.4.8..
3. Now after creating a Virtual Machine.Close the VMWare application..
4. Then Go to the folder where ur Virtual Machine is saved.. usually its in My Documents -> My Virtual Machines.
5. then Open up the .vmx file of ur virtual machine. for instance in my case it was Mac.vmx.
6. then remove these two lines
scsi0.present = "TRUE"
scsi0.virtualDev = "lsilogic"
otherwise u will repent initially as i did..LOL...

7. Now then Save the File and open the VMWare..and start the Install...
8.ENJOY THE NEW INSTALL....

If U Still have any problem then feel free to ask questions over this blog.

For more detailed discussion move to OSx86 Project

Happy Install.
